Tell me about your Homecoming weekend! If you didn't participate in the Homecoming festivities, what did you do? Share pics!

Best and last homecoming. Friday i spent 6 hours at the mall with Jamie and it made me feel like i was in an alternate universe (in a bad way,) but it's col because i got all my stuff done. Saturday morning starting with me getting my nails done and ended with me and Sarah running around trying to find shoes but I ended up wearing the ones I already had. Then my friends and i went over to get ready at Kendra's which i thought might be crazy with all 6 of us there but hey i got Jamie to do my makeup so i didn't really care. Pictures were at 6:30 and  I have never sweat so much during pictures in my life but for the most part they turned out good so whatever! We ate dinner at Zio's which i had never been to but it wasn't that bad, Lidia's will forever be my favorite Italian restaurant though. Lastly was the after party and it was themed based on each couple which was cool to see everyone's different "costumes" it was like an early Halloween, which was sweet because it's my favorite day of the year.

How was your weekend? Did you do anything exciting? Share photos!

My weekend wasn't super exciting, but it was still fun! Friday went t the game and it was a little rough but that's okay because were going to kill SW this weekend. On Saturday we celebrated Kaelen's birthday and ate lots of cookie cake that was amazing, Mrs. Fields is probably the best next to whole foods vegan chocolate chip cookies. Then i got to work on Sunday which was super fun but as least i got sushi.

Friday September 19

Now that you are several weeks in to this class and have coded one (super small) website, what do you think? What are your thoughts on web design? Is it what you thought it would be? Is it better? Worse? What's your favorite part? What's your least favorite part? Explain.

I think coding is pretty cool and makes me feel kinda smart, but it's a lot of work. The class is just like any other computer class and basically what i expected. I didn't think it would be as complex as it is and you would have to remember as much as you do with all the coding rules,but overall if you come in and do your work, you'll get most things done.

What is the importance of deadlines? How do high school deadlines reflect or simulate "real world" experience? Give an example of when you met or or didn't meet a deadline that was important.

The importance of deadlines are to ensue tat you can be organized and meet requirements in an orderly manner.“On the inside of the stockade and twenty feet from it there is a dead-line established, over which no prisoner is allowed to go, day or night, under penalty of being shot.” -Col. Chandler from a Captain Walter Bowie. I met a deadline when submitting my FIT application before January 1st.

The second test i took in chemistry Sophomore year.  I thought the first test was pretty easy, but that was because it was only over lab safety, which we have been learning about since 2nd grade and is basically common sense. Anyways, we learned a new unit a few weeks later that we hadn't learned in any other class prior and  decided not to study for the test, knowing i wasn't ready/ hadn't memorized all the material. I decided not to study because i was lazy and had to work that night, therefore I wasnt ready for the test and my grade reflected that.

What did you do this weekend? Share pictures if you have them!

I had a pretty busy weekend. Friday night i had to work and couldn't go to the football game, which sucked. Then i got to wake up in the morning and take the ACT, yay, that was fun. I
 had my senior pictures a little bit after that in the West Bottoms, which was a lot of fun and the photographer was super awesome! Then, the rest of the weekend I hung out with friends, went t church, and went to work.

This quote is a great representation of my grandmother. She is always saying how she is 78 living alone and is never bored. She had traveled and lived in so many places and had a tougher childhood than most around here due to growing up in France during World War 2, yet also valued things life gave her and was never "bored." So for me this quote is saying I should ever be bored because there is always something in the world surrounding me that is unknown and can intrigue me, therefore i should never be bore but looking for new ideas and meanings in the world.

How do you express your creativity? Explain.

I express my creativity through what I wear. My clothing is pretty unique, especially for high school. Through what I wear, I show my aspiration of wanting to do something pertaining to fashion as my future career, and how i'm not too worried about what other people think about me, or my clothing, yet that I stay true to myself and others.

Monday September 8th

 What did you do this weekend? Share pictures if you have them!

Over the weekend I went to D.C. to see family and go to a birthday party. My dad's whole family, minus is brother, lives in D.C. so we go there about 5 times a year. We went to really good restaurants, one of them was the old Ebbitt Grill, which is where many celebrities and Obama go to when they're in town, but sadly we didn't see anyone famous, i was hoping for the Kardashians, but my dad was hoping for the opposite and got his wish. We went to his best friends birthday party at Washington Golf, a famous golf club in D.C., and saw a lot of friends from when he was growing up and from college which was cool. I went shopping, of course, at Tyson's which is one of the nicest and chicest malls ever, except it didn't have Brady Melville which was pretty lame,but that's okay because Urban, Free People, and Bloomingdale's. I saw Dirty Dancing in the National Theater, it was pretty good but the acting could have been better. Overall i was a god trip, especially since i finally got the sunglasses I've been wanting.

Kids these days are always on their phones and sending text messages like they're unable t talk to someone face to face.  They have the strangest clothing and the amount of skin they show is not propriety. Every time I see one there always taking these pictures of themselves making these strange faces and it very weird. Oh and they're way too obsessed with their phones (get it i have Alzheimers.)

Tell me about what you have learned in this class so far. Have you learned a lot? Do you want to learn more? What do you want to be able to do by the end of the semester?

I think that I've learned a lot, especially since all I thought we did in his class was create a website in the beginning and now I can code, create and maintain a blog, and ish create a website. Yeah, want to learn more about blogs and how to have a successful one and by the end of the semester I want to be able to have a really chill website.

Tell me all about your Labor Day weekend. What did you do? Include photos!

Over the weekend I didn't do anything too exciting since i'm leaving for D.C. on Thursday. My sister came back from college and stayed until Sunday. I went to Mio's on Friday night, I wasn't a fan, then i went and saw Lets Be Cops with my sister and her boyfriend and it wasn't nearly as good as 21 or 22 Jump street. Saturday I worked at fortune wok and hung out with friends. Sunday I went to church, worked all day and then hung out with friends. Yesterday I got my nails done with Jamie, went on an adventure with Alyssa and worked again worked. It was a good weekend with friends and lots of M&M with Oreo McFlurrys.
